3 Reasons Investors Should Join Next Week’s Global E-Summit

The 1 December Cooling as a Service E-Summit programme is packed with content specifically tailored to be of interest to investors.

The upcoming Global Cooling as a Service (CaaS) E-Summit kicks off on 1 December at 9am CET and features a world-class agenda of nearly 50 speakers who will share their experience and knowledge of the revolutionary business model. 

As part of the programme, various sessions are scheduled to deal specifically with the investment opportunity side of the CaaS model, also looking at the value for the economy, society and the environment.   

The purpose of this session is to showcase the perspective of various types of investors who have a strong understanding of the Cooling as a Service model.

The following speakers will join this session to share their insights and experience:

• Jonathan First, Development Bank of South Africa will moderate this session and also speak about CaaS as an appealing investment vehicle.
• Csaba De Csiky, Enersave Capital: Off-balance as-a-service contracts and securitisation.
• Vladimir Dugin, Energy Access Ventures: Equity investment in companies operating CaaS.
• Mike Peo, Nedbank: Insights from a commercial bank financing CaaS in South Africa.

This session is a special interview with Jigar Shah, the current President and Co-Founder of Generate Capital and former Founder and CEO of SunEdison. The aim will be to learn from Jigar Shah’s view on the “as a service” model, as well as the potential he sees for the market today.

The session aims to leverage Jigar’s experience in business model innovation and entrepreneurship to give the audience a chance to further explore the potential of servitisation in revolutionising the  cooling and other industries for sustainable infrastructure.  

This parallel session will aim to showcase the perspective of various types of investors who have a strong understanding of the CaaS model.
