CaaS joins Koolboks Training Sessions on Nigerian Cooling Industry

The week-long virtual sales and marketing training sessions engaged stakeholders from around the country on how to transform the cooling industry in a post-pandemic market with innovative solutions such as servitisation and off-grid cooling.

The Koolboks virtual sales and marketing training session involved the entire KoolBoks team; their distribution partners at Novel Solar; Consistent Energy, Nicanor; as well as  Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN). Their technical partners from the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE) also joined to discuss the Cooling as a Service (CaaS) model specifically and its potential for the Nigerian market.

As the world battles the effects of the pandemic and people are advised to avoid large gatherings, the Koolboks Team used the power of technology to this virtual training session. This was a great opportunity to train our distributors and technical partners about the unique value of the Koolboks products, but also demonstrate how well they suit the needs of Nigerians, whether for commercial, domestic or medical use,”  explained Deborah Gael, Co-Founder/Director of Operations, Koolboks.

The topics discussed included  Koolboks’ solution, its unique value to the consumer, the market analysis and forecast for off-grid cooling solutions in Nigeria, and  the company’s next steps in the coming months. This training was also part of a recruitment process geared at inducting expert telemarketers and sales agents into the Koolboks team to further drive awareness of the Koolboks Cooling as a Service initiative, increase visibility, and drive conversion through sales.

The sessions were highly interactive and packed with insightful knowledge from top speakers, each bringing years of experience in their respective fields. The program included the following speakers: Dimitris Karamitsos, Senior Energy Efficiency Business Developer Specialist at BASE; Segun Adaju, CEO Consistent Energy Limited and President REAN; Nada Kaddoum, Associate Partner, Page Executive; Ladi Ojo, Managing Director Dovizia, West Africa; Chine Rajafa, a renowned sales coach, and many more.

The training was a great learning experience and even as we practiced social distancing, we are committed to adding value and changing the world, one Koolboks product at a time,” said Gael.

“It is great to see the level of commitment and innovation within KoolBoks,” said BASE’s Karamitsos. “They have a strong team, great products and are always looking to deliver value to their customers. This explains how rapidly they were able to implement CaaS within their operations. The feedback from the market has been very promising and we look forward to seeing many implementations.
